Nicolas Steegmann

Nicolas Steegmann is the Founder and Managing Partner of Wakefield Legacy Capital, a private investment firm based in Columbus, Ohio. Before launching the firm in August 2022, he worked as a Senior Business Consultant at Liberty Mutual Insurance from 2020 to 2022. His earlier financial career includes three years as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan between 2015 and 2018, following initial roles in the European investment banking and venture capital sectors. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Banking and Finance, and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation. Steegmann currently focuses on acquiring, operating, and growing a single business for the long term, while also maintaining active involvement as a technology startup investor and a recognized business angel within the broader venture ecosystem.
