Niklas Ponnert

Niklas Ponnert heads strategy and capital formation at eWTP Arabia Capital and serves as an angel investor at True Global Ventures in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Previously, he was the co-founder and managing partner of Origo Advisors, where he served as a director for the London Stock Exchange-listed Origo Partners Plc and held board roles at 12 public and private portfolio companies. His earlier career includes serving as a partner and managing director at China Equity Group, alongside investment positions at B Capital and Siemens Venture Capital. Ponnert brings over 20 years of global capital markets experience to his investments and holds a bachelor's degree in political science with highest honors from UC Berkeley. His current focus centers on China-linked cross-border private equity and venture capital investment opportunities across emerging markets in Asia and the Middle East.
