Nimit Maru

Nimit Maru is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sava, a financial technology startup participating in the Y Combinator Fall 2025 batch, and is based in San Francisco, California. Previously, he served as the Co-founder and CEO of Fullstack Academy, an education technology company from the accelerator's Summer 2012 cohort that was ultimately acquired by a publicly traded enterprise. Before his tenure in the edtech sector, Maru co-founded Bloomspot, a local e-commerce platform that successfully raised $46 million in venture capital funding prior to its corporate acquisition. His early career includes technical leadership roles as a Senior Software Engineer for Yahoo Maps and Travel, where he also co-founded the Yahoo MapMixer project. Maru's entrepreneurial background spans more than a decade of building and scaling venture-backed software companies across the financial technology, education, and e-commerce sectors.
