Niren Shah

Niren Shah is the Managing Director and Head of Norwest India at Norwest Venture Partners, operating out of India. He brings over 20 years of professional experience spanning venture capital, private equity, corporate finance, and investment banking to his role advising on regional capital deployments. Prior to joining Norwest, Shah served as the Senior Director of Strategy and Ventures at eBay Inc. in Silicon Valley and was a founding management team member of Baazee.com, an e-commerce platform that eBay acquired in 2004. During his tenure at Norwest, he has advised on numerous high-profile investments across the technology, fintech, and consumer sectors, backing prominent companies such as Swiggy, OfBusiness, Kotak Bank, and Amagi Media Labs. Shah currently focuses on blending venture and growth equity strategies to scale India-based internet, consumer, and financial technology enterprises.
