Noel Fenton is a Partner and Co-founder at Trinity Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. He earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Cornell University in 1959 and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University in 1963. Before establishing Trinity Ventures in 1986, Fenton served as the Chief Executive Officer of three venture-backed technology companies, including Covalent Systems and Acurex. During his ten-year tenure leading Acurex, he scaled the business to reach $65 million in annual revenue, and ultimately saw all three of his companies through successful acquisitions. Trinity Ventures recently closed a $435 million debut continuation fund to support its ongoing market activities. Fenton currently focuses his active investments on the enterprise software and B2B commerce sectors, while providing strategic mentoring on business models to portfolio executives.
