Norman Z.

Norman Zhou is a Managing Director at Boxer Capital Management, where he oversees due diligence for public and private healthcare investments. Since joining the firm in 2016, he has focused on biotechnology therapies across oncology, immunology, ophthalmology, and infectious diseases, while also serving on the Board of Directors for Vivace Therapeutics. Previously, Zhou advanced preclinical and clinical programs at Genentech Research and Early Development under Roche, and worked in clinical development at the Duke Clinical Research Institute and GSK. As a scientist and Pelotonia Fellow, he has authored over thirty scientific publications and conference abstracts, holds several patents as a co-inventor, and earned the AAPS Innovation in Biotechnology Award. Zhou earned a PhD in Pharmaceutic Science from The Ohio State University, an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and Medicine in Pharmacy degrees from Zhejiang University.
