Oliver Gunasekara is a deep tech and climate tech entrepreneur, investor, and advisor currently serving as a chief executive officer and co-founder. During his tenure as an early employee and Vice President of Corporate Development at Arm, he helped scale the company's market share from zero to 95 percent globally. While at Arm, he executed the 2006 acquisition of Falanx, which developed the Mali GPU, and founded the non-profit MIPI Alliance. Gunasekara later spent seven years as the founder and CEO of NGCodec, a video compression company that achieved a five-times exit multiple upon its acquisition by Xilinx in 2019. He subsequently founded Impossible Mining, recruiting the initial executive team to develop sustainable extraction technologies. His career spans over three decades with a primary focus on hardware innovation, corporate acquisitions, and advancing sustainable climate technologies.
