Oliver Ressler

Oliver Ressler is a Venture Partner at Courtside Ventures, an early-stage venture capital investment fund based in Los Angeles, California. He began his professional career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he executed financial transactions within the firm's Financial Institutions and Industrials groups. In 2016, Ressler transitioned into independent entrepreneurship by opening and operating The Press Shop, a fast-casual sandwich and dining establishment located in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood. He subsequently joined Courtside Ventures in 2018 to direct early-stage capital allocations across the sports, lifestyle, and gaming sectors. Alongside his venture capital responsibilities, he currently serves on the board of directors for the National Basketball Association's Atlanta Hawks franchise. Today, Ressler leverages his Georgetown University education and his diverse operational background to evaluate and support emerging consumer, lifestyle, and sports technology enterprises.
