Olugbenga Agboola

Olugbenga Agboola is the CEO and Co-founder of Flutterwave, a global payments infrastructure company based in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria. Since launching the Y Combinator-backed enterprise in 2016, he has scaled the platform to a valuation exceeding $3 billion, processing billions of dollars in annual transaction volume. Under his leadership, the firm expanded its operations into India and the United Arab Emirates in 2022, and acquired TransFi in February 2024 to enhance its logistics payments capabilities. Beyond his primary executive duties, Agboola is an active angel investor within the African technology ecosystem, holding portfolio positions in prominent regional startups such as Chipper Cash and Paystack, which was later acquired by Stripe.
