Omar Darwazah

Omar Darwazah is the Managing Director at Arzan Wealth, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this capacity, he oversees venture capital and private equity investments across the MENA region, managing a portfolio with over $500 million in assets under management. Prior to his current position, he held institutional finance and investment roles at JPMorgan and Darby Overseas Investments. Darwazah currently maintains board positions at more than ten portfolio companies, including a recent appointment at ARK Investments in 2024, and facilitated a regional portfolio exit in the first quarter of 2026. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from the University of Chicago and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School. His current focus centers on deploying capital into the healthcare, technology, and consumer sectors throughout emerging markets.
