Ornit Shinar

Ornit Shinar is the Managing Partner at Sanchi Capital, an early-stage venture firm based in Israel. Previously, she served as the Head of External Innovation and Venture Investing in Israel for Citi Ventures, where she deployed $1 million to $20 million checks across Seed to Series B funding rounds. Before joining Citi, Shinar managed External Innovation and Business Development for Lenovo in Europe and Israel from 2014 to 2017, and earlier exceeded her sales quota by 600 percent as Europe Director of Sales at Commtouch. She holds an LLM cum laude from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, earned joint honors from the London School of Economics, and previously clerked for the Israeli Supreme Court President. Shinar currently focuses her investments on fintech, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence startups while actively supporting female founders through the Yazamiyot network.
