Oskar Hartmann

Oskar Hartmann is the Managing Partner of Hartbeat Ventures and is currently based in Berlin, Germany. Before transitioning to venture capital, he operated as a serial entrepreneur and founded several notable technology companies, including KupiVIP, CarPrice, and the regional e-commerce giant Wildberries. Through Hartbeat Ventures, Hartmann manages a portfolio of over 50 early-stage companies and recently launched a $50 million second investment fund in 2024 targeting the Central and Eastern European technology sector. He is also a recognized author who published the bestselling books "Cold Startup" and "Scale or Fail," and he frequently speaks at major industry conferences such as Web Summit, Slush, and SPIEF.
