Owais Khan

Owais Khan is an Associate at Global Ventures based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He joined the venture capital firm in 2023 to source, evaluate, and manage early-stage technology investments across the Middle East and North Africa, supporting an entity that manages over $150 million in total assets. To date, Khan has been directly involved with more than ten portfolio companies and recently participated in a $5 million seed funding round for a regional financial technology startup in the first quarter of 2025. Operating within a rapidly expanding regional ecosystem anchored by major technology companies like Careem and peer investment funds such as STV, he also spoke at a Riyadh Season technology event in November 2024. Khan currently focuses his investment efforts on deploying early-stage capital into emerging financial technology, software-as-a-service, and consumer internet ventures.
