Padmanabhan (Paddy) Krishnamurthy is the Founder and Builder of EzDubs, an artificial intelligence startup focused on real-time speech translation. Previously, he worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Webex, where he developed zero-shot voice cloning technologies, and served as a Visiting Researcher at the USC Interaction Lab. Krishnamurthy earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University, completing his thesis on cross-lingual speech synthesis under Professor Lydia Chilton. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from HKUST, where he was named a Distinguished Student Researcher. During his undergraduate studies, he won the 2019 James Dyson Award for developing an AI-powered lipreading wearable camera and was a 2019 GGCS runner-up. His technical background centers on applying machine learning to speech synthesis, computer vision, and accessibility technologies to improve real-time digital communication.
