Paolo Gesess

Paolo Gesess is the Founder and Managing Partner of United Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Milan, Italy. Bringing over 25 years of investment experience to his current role, he previously founded Jupiter Venture and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1999. Under his leadership, United Ventures manages €500 million in assets under management across three funds, including a €150 million early-stage vehicle launched in 2023. The firm has executed approximately 40 investments across Europe and the United States, with Gesess serving on the board of directors for portfolio companies such as Moneyfarm. He also oversaw notable 2022 international exits from FACEIT and Musixmatch that generated returns exceeding a 10x multiple for the firm. His current investment focus centers on backing early-stage and growth-stage technology companies driving digital innovation, sustainable digitization, and fintech solutions.
