Pat Grady

Pat Grady is a veteran venture capitalist serving as a Partner and co-steward at Sequoia Capital, where he has directed the firm's growth-stage investing practice since 2015. Over the course of his nearly two-decade tenure at the institution, he has actively collaborated with sixty-seven different founders to scale emerging technology enterprises across multiple sectors. His notable investment portfolio features leading enterprise software and artificial intelligence companies, including major positions in OpenAI and Snowflake. In November 2025, Grady was officially elevated to the top leadership co-steward position alongside Alfred Lin, succeeding the outgoing Roelof Botha.
