Paul Conway

Paul Conway is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of Spark Capital, based in the Boston, Massachusetts area. After beginning his professional career in the public accounting sector, he spent twelve years serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Charles River Ventures before establishing his current venture capital firm in 2005. During his ongoing tenure at Spark Capital, Conway has helped scale the firm's total assets under management from an initial $250 million first fund to over $4 billion today. In his executive capacity, he oversees the firm's day-to-day non-investing operations, directly managing internal finance, limited partner relations, and human resources. Additionally, he expanded his corporate governance responsibilities by joining the board of directors at Acme United Corporation in 2024. His career remains focused on providing operational and financial infrastructure for early-stage technology investment firms.
