Paul Lim

Paul Lim is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of SBI Ven Capital, a prominent private equity and venture capital firm based in Singapore. In this leadership role, he oversees the firm's broader investment strategy across Southeast Asia and South Asia, managing specialized investment vehicles such as the $70 million SBI-FMO Emerging Asia Financial Sector Fund. Before leading the Singapore-based subsidiary of Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Holdings, which was originally established as a division of SoftBank, Lim held various senior executive positions in corporate finance and investment banking. He has directed numerous multi-million dollar equity investments into mid-market financial services and technology companies, frequently serving on the board of directors for several regional portfolio startups.
