Paul Verhesen

Paul Verhesen is a Venture Partner at Builders VC and a Strategic Advisor for KV Capital based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Prior to his current investment roles, he spent over 30 years in the construction industry, notably serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Clark Builders. During his executive tenure, he led the commercial contracting firm's 2011 ownership transition to partner with Turner Construction. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta, maintains a Professional Engineering Certification with APEGA, and serves as Board Chair for the Sawridge Group of Companies. Additionally, he is a past recipient of the Edmonton Construction Association's Claude Alston Award for his industry contributions. Verhesen now focuses on advising private equity teams on building product acquisitions and guiding venture capital investments across the construction technology sector.
