Prior to establishing the investment firm in 2020, he spent over a decade as a Managing Director and Partner at Moelis & Company, where he advised on numerous high-profile mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring transactions across Latin America. His extensive career in the investment banking sector also includes serving as a Director at Merrill Lynch and working in corporate finance at Banco Pactual. Almeida holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, providing a foundational framework for his two decades of financial expertise. He currently focuses on deploying capital into data-driven software and artificial intelligence startups, leveraging his extensive transactional background to support emerging technology founders throughout the broader Latin American region.
