Peter Chernin

Peter Chernin is the Co-founder and Partner at TCG, as well as the Chairman and CEO of The Chernin Group and The North Road Company, based in Los Angeles. Prior to founding his own investment and production entities in 2010, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer of News Corp and Chairman and CEO of the Fox Group from 1996 to 2009. Through TCG, he manages a growth equity portfolio backed by $1.3 billion in capital across more than 100 active companies, including investments in Headspace, Vuori, and Barstool Sports. In 2022, he established The North Road Company, a global multi-genre studio that subsequently secured $150 million from the Qatar Investment Authority to fund content creation. Chernin focuses on directing capital and strategic oversight toward consumer platforms, sports leagues, and media enterprises that shape contemporary culture.
