Peter Colis

Peter Colis is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ethos Technologies, a life insurance technology company based in San Francisco, California. Prior to establishing the insurtech enterprise in 2016, he co-founded and served as CEO of Ovid Life, a life insurance marketplace that was later acquired by a private equity firm. Under his executive leadership, Ethos has secured over $400 million in venture capital funding, reaching a valuation exceeding $2.7 billion through strategic investments from prominent firms including Sequoia Capital, Accel, and the SoftBank Vision Fund. Colis holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado Boulder.
