Peter Hirsch is the Head of Sustainability at 2150, a venture capital firm based in London, UK. He oversees the sustainability strategy for a portfolio of 14 investments that currently reduce or remove 481,500 tonnes of carbon annually, projecting 38.9 million tonnes by 2030. Hirsch also manages the firm's internal environmental initiatives, including a self-imposed €100 per tonne carbon tax across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions since 2022. Previously, he spent six years at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development supporting green investments and urban planning initiatives for cities and corporate entities.
