Peter Kight

Peter Kight is a Columbus, Ohio-based financial technology pioneer who currently serves as a corporate board member for Huntington Bancshares Incorporated. He originally founded CheckFree in 1981 and served as its chairman and chief executive officer from 1997 until 2007, growing the business into a dominant player in electronic bill pay. Following the acquisition of CheckFree, he served as the vice chairman of Fiserv through March 2010 while continuing to advance electronic consumer payments, fraud detection, and operational risk management. His extensive expertise in financial services infrastructure has led to additional directorial roles at prominent technology firms, including Bill.com Holdings, Akamai Technologies, and Manhattan Associates.
