Peter Levine

Peter Levine is a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz based in San Francisco, California, where he focuses on enterprise software and cloud infrastructure investments. Before joining the venture capital firm in 2011, he served as CEO of XenSource, leading the enterprise virtualization company through its $500 million acquisition by Citrix in 2007. Earlier in his career, Levine was a General Partner at Mayfield Fund and an Executive Vice President at VERITAS Software, helping scale the latter to 5,000 employees and $1.5 billion in revenue. As an investor, he has led funding rounds and held board seats for prominent technology companies including GitHub, Figma, and DigitalOcean.
