Peter Parker

Peter Parker is the Managing General Partner at Mission BioCapital, based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He brings over three decades of experience to the firm, having previously served as a General Partner at Ampersand Ventures from 1989 to 2006 and as the head of worldwide research and development for AMAX Inc. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Allopartis Biotechnologies, which was acquired by Novozymes in 2013, and served as the first healthcare champion at MassChallenge. Parker has operated as an equity investor and board member for more than 35 life science companies, currently holding board seats at Mitokinin, Mediar, and the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center. He holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Columbia University. His current focus centers on early-stage company formation and funding across life science tools, therapeutics, and drug delivery.
