Peter Sandys

Peter Sandys is the Managing Partner at Seroba Life Sciences, a venture capital firm based in Dublin, Ireland. He concurrently serves as the newly elected Chairman of the Irish Venture Capital Association, where he oversees industry initiatives and manages investments across the European healthcare technology sector. Sandys led the first close of Seroba Life Sciences Fund III at €100 million in February 2017, marking the fifth investment fund supported by the government agency Enterprise Ireland through its Seed and Venture Capital Programme. His investment strategy targets product-focused, early and mid-stage companies developing breakthrough medical devices and therapeutic drugs across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and broader European markets, alongside selective investments in the United States. Sandys currently focuses on guiding life sciences startups from their initial inception through clinical evaluation, regulatory approvals, and eventual commercial market launch.
