Peter Thoren

Peter Thoren is the Executive Vice President and Head of the Access Family Office at Access Industries in New York City. In this executive capacity, he also manages the Blavatnik Family Foundation, which has contributed over one billion three hundred million dollars to institutions worldwide over the past decade. Before joining Access Industries, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Walker Digital Corporation and held senior management positions at Salomon and Citigroup. He began his career as an attorney at Rogers and Wells after earning degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Georgetown University Law Center. Thoren currently sits on the boards of the New York Academy of Sciences and Columbia Engineering, maintaining a dual focus on strategic corporate investments and major philanthropic initiatives.
