Phil Williams

Phil Williams is a Partner at Signal Peak Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He holds an MBA and a BS in Finance from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business, where he served as Managing Director of the student-run investment fund Cougar Capital. Before transitioning to venture capital, Williams gained operational experience as a graduate intern in business development at Amazon and in sales and account management at Logoworks, which was later acquired by Hewlett-Packard. He also worked as a finance and sales operations manager at Allegiance Software before building an extensive early-stage venture portfolio that includes investments in companies like Degreed, Chatbooks, and Filevine. Today, his professional focus remains centered on identifying and scaling early-stage technology startups through strategic capital allocation and direct operational guidance.
