Phileas Fox

Phileas Fox is currently a Managing Partner at Peak, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Prior to joining Peak in 2019, Fox served as a Principal at Index Ventures, where he managed a $150 million seed fund and directed early investments across the European software sector. He previously spent four years working as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs in London, focusing on technology mergers and acquisitions with a combined transaction value exceeding $2 billion. Fox holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics. Throughout his ten-year career in finance, he has served on the board of directors for seven technology companies. His current professional focus centers on identifying and funding artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and fintech startups.
