Philip Isik

Philip Isik is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Tiptap, a venture-backed content and document editing development suite based in Berlin, Germany. Before establishing the company in 2022, he spent a decade working as a frontend developer at the digital consultancy überdosis. During his tenure there, he collaborated with colleagues like Philipp Kühn and Timo Isik to transform an open-source side project into a commercial enterprise. Under his leadership, Tiptap has grown to a team of approximately 15 employees and successfully participated in a Summer 2023 startup accelerator cohort. In his current executive capacity, he directs corporate strategy, sales, and business development to scale the software platform for hundreds of engineering teams. His primary focus remains on bridging engineering and product design to build collaborative editing tools for both human users and artificial intelligence agents.
