Philip Kung

Philip Kung is a qualified Chinese Patent Attorney currently serving as a Patent Attorney at the international intellectual property firm Marks & Clerk. Prior to his current position, he held an in-house patent role at a major display manufacturer, worked at a leading intellectual property firm, and managed technology assets in a public-sector IP management position. His technical practice encompasses patent prosecution and analytics across mechanical tools, materials science, manufacturing, display and sensing technologies, software, and artificial intelligence. Kung holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biotechnology and a Master of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and he is currently pursuing a second master's degree in Information Technology. He currently focuses on comprehensive patent landscaping, portfolio management, and freedom-to-operate analysis while providing specialized intellectual property training to small and medium-sized enterprises and large corporate clients.
