Philip O'Connor

Philip O'Connor is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Blackhorn Ventures, an early-stage investment firm based in Montana, United States. Previously, he served as the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of PAX Pure, where he successfully guided the industrial water treatment startup from initial prototyping to scaled commercial pilots and a large strategic partnership. His earlier professional background encompasses operational and advisory roles in wind energy development, environmental non-profits, land management, and angel investing. Additionally, he serves as an active mentor to founders and holds an advisory position with the Conservation International Leadership Council. O'Connor earned an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and a BA with Honors in Political Science and Government from the University of Canterbury. His current focus centers on commercializing early-stage technologies for industrial resource management and sustainability.
