Philip Schultheiss

Philip Schultheiss is a Principal at AM Ventures based in Starnberg, Germany, where he focuses on investments in additive manufacturing and advanced materials. He currently manages six portfolio companies across the United States, Germany, and Australia, having led investments in startups including Lean Plastic Technologies, Additive Drives, and Fortius Metals. Schultheiss serves as the firm's internal technology expert for advanced materials and architected its digital infrastructure for deal flow management, while establishing scouting operations across the British Isles and Nordic regions. Before his venture capital career, he worked as an Assistant to the CEO at an IT service company to restructure operations and provided consulting on industrial 3D printing business cases. Holding an International Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen, his current focus remains on evaluating and scaling complex industrial production technologies globally.
