Philip Seijger

Philip Seijger is a Partner and co-founder at FORWARD.one, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Prior to establishing the investment firm in 2017, he worked in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions at Kempen & Co, advising European technology and life sciences companies on complex strategic transactions. Seijger earned a master's degree in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis, and Management from Delft University of Technology, equipping him with the analytical framework required to evaluate sophisticated hardware and engineering startups. In his current capacity, he helps oversee a portfolio backed by more than €200 million in assets under management, directing capital into emerging deep tech, robotics, and semiconductor enterprises. His professional focus centers on sourcing high-tech hardware investments and supporting technical founders as they transition from academic research environments to commercial market leadership.
