Phillip Sarofim

Phillip Sarofim is the Founder, CEO, and Managing Partner of Trousdale Ventures, a venture capital firm headquartered in West Hollywood, California. He concurrently serves as the Acting Chairman of the revived automotive brand Meyers Manx and holds a board seat at battery technology company Coreshell. Educated at Rice University, Sarofim is an active member of the Houston Texans ownership group and recently served as a judge for the 2023 Tom Ford Plastic Innovation Prize, which awarded $1.2 million in capital to developers of seaweed-based plastics. Through Trousdale Ventures, he has built a diverse investment portfolio that includes aerospace firms like CesiumAstro and Venus Aerospace, alongside consumer beverage brands such as Lemon Perfect and Super Coffee. His current investment strategy primarily focuses on funding early-stage companies operating across the climate technology, space, mobility, and sustainability sectors.
