Pierpaolo Barbieri

Pierpaolo Barbieri is the London-based Founder and CEO of Fintech Circle and Managing Partner at Investcorp Aspen Bridge. In 2024, he joined Investcorp to lead its United States fintech and artificial intelligence investment strategy, following the 2023 integration of Fintech Circle into the PwC ecosystem. His previous professional experience includes serving as a Senior Advisor at Boston Consulting Group, alongside roles at the World Economic Forum and the European Commission. Barbieri has invested in more than 50 early-stage technology companies, securing notable exits with enterprise software firms such as Thought Machine and Featurespace. He holds a doctorate in international relations from Oxford University, as well as degrees from Harvard University and Bocconi University. His current focus centers on bridging finance, technology, and policy through strategic venture capital investments in the financial services sector.
