Pierre-Yves Poirier

Pierre-Yves Poirier is a Founding Partner at Andera Partners, where he leads the MidCap investment team from his base in Paris, France. Under his leadership, the private equity firm manages over €5 billion in assets and supports approximately 350 portfolio companies across Europe. He recently helped close the Andera MidCap 5 fund at €600 million in September 2023 to back mid-market enterprises such as HR Path. Before establishing Andera's predecessor in 2001, Poirier worked in the Development Capital division of the Edmond de Rothschild Group and held earlier roles at La Financière de Brienne and Société Générale. He holds a degree from École Centrale de Lille and a postgraduate finance degree from the University of Lille II. His current focus remains on executing mid-cap buyouts and growth capital investments across the European market.
