Piruze Sabuncu

Piruze Sabuncu is a Partner at Square Peg in Singapore, where she invests in early-stage fintech, artificial intelligence, and SaaS companies. Prior to entering venture capital, she joined Stripe as its first employee in Southeast Asia and one of its first 200 employees globally, ultimately managing core business operations across the Southeast Asia and Greater China markets. Earlier in her career, Sabuncu co-founded a San Francisco-based consumer healthcare gaming startup and served as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, focusing on complex technology and healthcare mergers and acquisitions. She currently holds formal board positions at GovTech Singapore and the growth-stage creator economy platform Hotmart. Her current focus centers on leveraging her foundational startup scaling experience and strategic management consulting expertise to support innovative early-stage technology companies pursuing ambitious global expansion.
