Pradeep Tagare is the Vice President and Head of Investments at National Grid Partners in Silicon Valley, where he oversees a corporate venture capital fund managing up to $500 million. He directs capital toward energy transition and enterprise technology startups, having deployed over $450 million across more than 46 companies and four specialty venture funds. His portfolio activity includes leading an investment in Autogrid, which was subsequently acquired by Siemens, alongside backing companies like LineVision and Exodigo. Prior to his current position, Tagare spent over 13 years at Intel Capital, where he led 16 investments that resulted in two initial public offerings and eight acquisitions. Earlier in his career, he founded Yopa, a startup acquired by AOL, and held operational roles at BroadVision. Tagare currently focuses on funding technologies that digitize and decarbonize global energy systems.
