Prakash Iyer

Prakash Iyer is an independent technology consultant, board member, and the Managing Director at Trimble Ventures, while also serving as Senior Vice President of Software Platform Architecture at Trimble Inc. He has spent over fifteen years in executive leadership at Trimble Inc., guiding software strategy and development initiatives across multiple divisions. His previous roles at the firm include Senior Vice President of Software Architecture and Strategy from November 2017 to September 2021, and Vice President of Software Architecture and Strategy from July 2011 to November 2017. Earlier in his tenure, he operated as Division Vice President of Software and Technology between January 2008 and June 2011, following an initial position as Senior Vice President of Products starting in July 2006. Iyer currently focuses on advising technology enterprises and directing corporate venture capital investments within the software sector.
