Pranab Krishnan

Pranab Krishnan is the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Zeal, an embedded payroll and staffing operations platform based in San Francisco, California. Under his technical leadership, the Y Combinator S19 alumni company has secured $30 million in venture funding to develop application programming interfaces that enable software platforms to integrate customized payroll functionality. Prior to establishing the fintech startup Zeal, Krishnan worked as a machine learning engineer at MITRE and served as a bioinformatics research fellow at the National Institutes of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). He also gained early quantitative experience working as a data analyst at The Wharton School while completing his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and bioinformatics. His current professional focus centers on building scalable product infrastructure and compliance automation systems for high-volume financial applications.
