Prateek Alsi

Prateek Alsi is a General Partner and Co-Head of Venture at Tribe Capital, based in Menlo Park, United States. Before assuming his current position in March 2023, he spent two years at Village Global and five years as a Partner at General Catalyst from 2013 to 2018. During his tenure at General Catalyst, he directed early-stage investments across the financial technology, consumer, and software sectors, working with notable portfolio companies including Stripe, Gusto, Fundbox, and Giphy. His earlier career encompasses over a decade of operational and strategic roles, serving as Director of Partnerships at Square between 2012 and 2013, following a nine-year business development tenure at Time Warner Cable. Holding a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University, Alsi currently focuses on utilizing data science to engineer early-stage venture investments across the enterprise software and financial technology markets.
