Qasar Younis is the co-founder and CEO of Applied Intuition, an artificial intelligence company developing simulation tools for autonomous systems. Before launching the company, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Y Combinator from 2015 to 2017 and founded Talkbin, a technology startup that was later acquired by Google. Younis began his career as an automotive engineer at General Motors and Bosch after earning a mechanical engineering degree from Kettering University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Under his leadership, Applied Intuition has grown to about 1,300 employees, partnering with 18 of the 20 largest global OEMs, and reached a $15 billion valuation following a $600 million Series F funding round in June 2025 backed by Andreessen Horowitz. His current focus centers on scaling physical AI and autonomous vehicle software across the automotive, industrial, and defense sectors.
