Qiyong Cao

Qiyong Cao is a Senior Investment Specialist at ADB Ventures, the venture arm of the Asian Development Bank, where she focuses on venture capital investments within the Chinese market. She brings over 15 years of professional experience spanning engineering, management consulting, and institutional venture capital across both the United States and China. In her current capacity, Cao is directly responsible for leading early-stage deal sourcing, conducting comprehensive financial due diligence, and managing deal execution for the firm's regional portfolio. Prior to advancing her investment career, she developed her foundational technical and strategic expertise before earning a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, at the Haas School of Business. Cao currently leverages her extensive cross-border operational background to identify, evaluate, and support emerging technology startups and strategic investment opportunities throughout the broader Asian ecosystem.
