Quinn Murdock

Quinn Murdock is an Associate at Impression Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In this role, he leads the sourcing of fintech founders across the US and Canada, supporting a fund that typically leads or co-leads seed rounds with initial checks ranging from $1 million to $2 million. Prior to joining the venture capital sector, Murdock worked in strategy and operations at Wealthsimple, where he collaborated cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to automate backend operations. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with a minor in Innovation from McMaster University, where he also conducted academic research on the gig economy at the DeGroote School of Business. Murdock currently focuses on identifying emerging financial technology startups while independently publishing a monthly newsletter that highlights early-stage Canadian founders.
