Raaj Rayat

Raaj Rayat is an early-stage technology and venture capital investor currently serving as a Principal at Airtree Ventures. Prior to entering the venture capital industry, he departed his university law degree program to join Lendable as one of the financial technology startup's earliest employees. In this operational role, he leveraged data science to expand access to alternative financial services throughout emerging markets, ultimately helping to scale the company's footprint from a small co-working space to an active presence across five continents. At Airtree Ventures, he evaluates new investment opportunities and supports a diverse portfolio of growing technology enterprises, including the hospitality platform Mr Yum. Rayat currently focuses on the intersection of financial services and technology, utilizing a multidisciplinary background in philosophy, law, and data science to identify founders who prioritize culture and values-driven scaling.
