Rachel Yap

Rachel Yap is a Managing Director on the Insurance team at Bain Capital. Since joining the firm in 2017, she has focused on evaluating and executing investment opportunities across the business services, tech-enabled services, and healthcare sectors, with a specific emphasis on the European market. Prior to assuming her current European mandate, she served as an investor on Bain Capital's Asia Pacific Private Equity team based in Sydney. Before her tenure at Bain Capital, Yap worked in the Investment Banking division at Macquarie Group and was a member of the investment team at Arowana & Co. She completed her undergraduate education in Australia, earning both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Monash University. Her professional background centers on executing complex private equity transactions and driving strategic growth within specialized service and healthcare industries.
