Rafa de Haro

Rafa de Haro is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of COMETA, a venture capital firm established in 2012 that invests in early-stage software companies. Before launching the firm, he served as the Co-Founder and CEO of the New York-based software startup Lifedots and worked as an M&A investment banking associate at JPMorgan in London. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and completed specialized private equity and venture capital training at Harvard Business School as a Kauffman Fellow. Through COMETA, de Haro has backed numerous technology startups across Spanish-speaking markets, holding board roles at companies including Conekta and Kueski while investing in unicorns valued at over $1 billion such as Bitso and Cabify. His current focus remains on scaling early-stage fintech and enterprise software ventures globally while educating future investors through his venture capital courses at ITAM.
