Rafael Conceição

Rafael Conceição is an Associate at Indico Capital Partners based in Lisbon, Portugal. Since joining the venture capital firm in December 2021, he has evaluated and executed Seed to Series A investments across Southern Europe, contributing to a portfolio where Indico has deployed €100 million into more than 50 companies since 2019. Prior to his current position, he served as an Investment Manager at Portugal Ventures and collaborated with notable regional industry figures such as Cristina Fonseca and Rui Rodrigues. He holds a degree from Universidade, completed between 2013 and 2015, and brings over seven years of dedicated venture capital experience to his institutional investment practice. His current focus centers on identifying high-potential early-stage technology startups operating within the SaaS, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, fintech, Web3, and ocean-related sectors across the markets of Portugal, Spain, and Italy.
